CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
Concrete Nature runs a programme of public workshops exploring art, design and nature through paper-based and DIY techniques – collage, bookbinding, printing and zine-making. These immersive experiences foster creativity and well-being, empowering individuals to expand their creative practice with a focus on play and experimentation.
The workshops are also an invitation to cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world and embrace sustainable practices; through the use of eco-friendly materials such as recycled paper stocks, reusable / recycled / biodegradable materials, and zero-waste practices.
All materials are provided and all levels of experience are welcome – whether you are a complete novice looking to kickstart your creative journey or a professional looking to focus on play and step away from your day-to-day practice. BESPOKE WORKSHOPS
Concrete Nature’s workshops are crafted to inspire people, celebrate creativity, and nurture well-being. Bespoke workshops can be designed for cultural organisations, businesses, events and private groups to explore a specific theme or place through collage, booking, DIY printing, artist bookmaking and zine making.
As an environmentally conscious studio, sustainability is at the heart of Concrete Nature’s practice. Eco-friendly and non-toxic materials are meticulously sourced; ensuring that as your creativity blossoms, our planet thrives too.
Typically spanning two hours, Concrete Nature’s workshops can be designed a single session for a relaxing creative break or a series of events for an in-depth experience. Workshops are suitable for all abilities and level of experience – from curious novices to seasoned professional.

We particularly enjoy designing site-specific workshops to encourage people to connect with their environment and look at their surroundings in a new way.
Site-specific workshops are two-parts events; unique prompts are designed to lead workshop participants to gather visual materials which they will use to feed the creative work they will produce during the practical part of the workshop.
