Funded to positively impact human experiences and the environment, Concrete Nature explores the notions of design and sustainability through publishing, design and educational practices.

The studio’s publishing practice spans across photograph books, guides and workbooks. Each publication explores a specific subject at the intersection of art, design, nature and sustainability. Since launching in 2020, the focus has been on producing solely risograph printed publications using FSC® and recycled paper stocks.

The studio’s first guide, published in 2023, is a celebration of Glasgow’s independent scene through the artist-led, community focused and environmentally conscious businesses it is made of. The guide provides distinctive and considered content reflecting of Concrete Nature’s values.
